In the News

Jennifer C. Jaff, an attorney with 30 years of legal experience and a patient with a chronic illness, is the nation's leading expert on the law as it affects patients with chronic health problems - which comprise 50% of all Americans. How do you prove that you are "totally and permanently disabled" when you have an illness that can go into remission? That is the core legal issue facing patients with chronic illness. Jennifer is the lone voice advocating that, to ensure that the chronically ill are protected, we must redefine the notion of disability to include invisible chronic illnesses.

Jennifer is available to Media on issues relating to health care policy issues (such as universal health care) as they relate to patients with chronic illness. She easily can explain health and disability insurance, Social Security disability, employment discrimination, educational equity - just about any issue as it relates to the chronically ill.

Media should CONTACT Jennifer Jaff at (860) 674-1370 or (860) 305-9835, or by email at patient_advocate@sbcglobal.net. If you prefer, you may contact Jamie Diaferia at Infinite Public Relations, at (212) 687-0935, or by email at jdiaferia@infinitepr.com.
